A cost-reduced variant of Gen 5 released alongside Fossil's participation in Google's "Wear OS refresh" push in late 2020 -- kept the Snapdragon Wear 3100 and 1GB RAM but removed the onboard speaker, altimeter and (on some SKUs) built-in GPS to hit a lower price point. Superseded by Fossil Gen 6 (already in phase-1), Fossil's final Wear OS generation before exiting the smartwatch business in January 2024. Precise per-SKU spec differences were not exhaustively re-verified in this pass; figures below reflect the commonly reported baseline configuration.
